Daniel Cainer – Stories in Songs

2 June at 4:30pm at The Ark Synagogue

(doors open from 4pm)

As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations, we are excited to welcome Daniel Cainer, award-winning songwriter, storyteller and performer back to The Ark Synagogue for a matinee featuring his ever-evolving, Jewish-themed show of unique stories in song.

Smart, funny, timely and only slightly irreverent, Cainer’s deeply moving tales about his family and observational comedy are a joy. Feuding tailors, a naughty rabbi, family fables (and foibles) – all the human condition is here, lovingly and intelligently depicted in a remarkable collection of stories-in-song. With brilliant rhyming and wordplay, great musicianship and haunting tunes, this is an afternoon that you’ll never forget. Register to reserve your place here. A suggested donation of £15 per person will be collected at the door either in cash or by card.
